Do you know if any Regals will be displayed? If so, which models?

South Shore Marine in Huron, Ohio is the NEW Regal Dealer in our area.

I note the following from a recent news letter I received from them via email:

"Making a tour stop at our docks will be Regal's NEW 42 Sport Coupe diesel IPS with Joystick technology...available for demos!
Look for the BLUE South Shore Marine Flags!"

For more info see: http://www.southshoremarine.com/

Also, note that Sima Marine will have the following 6 brokerage boats there:

65 Marquis, Carver 570 Voyager, Carver 370 Voyager, Four Winns 358 Vista, Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee and Regal 3060 Window Express

The new 42 Sports Coupe was at the Cedar Point boat show for in water demos.. Sheryl and I were able to take advantage of a demo ride.
There is something strange about moving perfectly sideways so effortlessly.. but very cool too.

The boat handles like a performance boat with the IPS drives.. after performing some interesting maneuvers inside the marina between the docks, I noted that it was churning 'silt' from the bottom.. w/6' of water under the boat.. so, approx ~9' total.. talk about some torque on those props.. ;)

One other note, Sig (sp?) from the Regal Factory was also on the boat.. and was very knowledgeable.. he noted and we experienced 10mph where the boat, moving just faster than trawler speed is capable of getting 8 miles/gallon.. at cruise speed, she's ~1.6 to 1.8 mpg.

All in all, a very nice boat.. listed at around $600K, I believe the show price was just under $500K? We looked at a lot of boats, so don't hold me to those numbers. as I could be wrong.. (a case of CRS?)
