Location of Lowerance Depth Gauge alar

Postby Vix10 » Mon May 21, 2018 1:17 pm

Regal Commodore 2760 (1999)

My Depth Gauge alarm sounds intermittently even when I know there is no danger of running aground.
I need to locate this alarm to either disconnect or replace new sender!

Can anyone give me an idea where the alarm is! Searched ever where! !

Has anyone had this same problem

I have finally located the alarm for the Lowrance 3500 depth gauge!
Can anyone tell me if it is OK to disconnect the alarm? There are two wires( red and black) coming from the gauge to the alarm , is it just a case isolating these wires are can this cause a problem with circuits etc!

I didn't know that they had an external alarm, mine was built in to the unit. Anyway there shouldn't be any issues. The depth should be programmable for min and max depth alarms.
Thanks, Chris
