I replaced all three of the CO detectors on my 3860 this past weekend.

I had to cut the existing wires and I used a Pin and Socket connector in case I need to replace or remove them for any reason.

The one in the aft cabin was the most difficult because the wires behind the detector are up against the firewall bulkhead, and I had to kind of snake the wires behind that padding on the bulkhead.

But I should be good for the next 5-7 years.

They will beep on low voltage as well. The other thing could be is small amounts of CO. If they both trigger its either an alarm or low voltage. They won't go into EOL until the stamped date.
