No water to shower

Postby wlcstc » Fri Feb 09, 2018 1:40 pm

On my 2004 3060 Window Express I have water pressure to the sinks in the head and galley but not to the shower in head. Water pressure is great through out the boat but not to the shower. I
'd love some thoughts on what the problem could be.
Thanks in advance.

I'd say it's time to disassemble shower faucet(s) to check for flow. Might also be shower head.

If you don't run water through it very much then all the "stuff" will clog things up. Regal would just use a simple "T" from the mainline, and normally they are accessable, you just need to figure out where they are. However as SGlibert mentioned pull apart the handle and take out the stem/cartridge and see if there is a surprise of stuff in there. You might first take off the shower head and try running it that way. The fine mesh filter on the head can clog easily.
Thanks, Chris

Thanks everyone. I replaced the shower head and that wasn't it. I'll tackle the valve next.

I wanted to say check the shower head, our fwd shower lost about 50% of its flow and ended up being a filter screen in the washer in between the outlet pipe and shower head. Just cleaned out the screen and everything back to normal. Sounds like you have to do some more digging? If you leave the shower head off what kind of flow do you get just out of the pipe?
