If you do have power steering it is a engine driven pump usyally on the port side of the engine. You remove the cap and pour it in.
If you have hyd steering the pump is the helm unit . you remove the black plug and SLOWLY add hyd steering oil, NOT POWER STEERING OIL

Assume the OP has outdrives? OP didnt indicate drive type, engine model and hours on the drives. Again wish that new members were were required to list this info when first logging on/joining the ROF? Would eliminate a lot of replies asking for this info in order to give a educated response?

Yes the 3360 wasn't made with V-drives, only outdrives.
Thanks, Chris

OK, thanks, didnt know that so had to ask the question. I still believe that it would be much simpler for a new ROF member to indicate what he has so we dont have to guess or send another post asking that question?

Thanks

macdonald - the power steering reservoir is located on the port side of both engines. However, the starboard engine power steering is only being used.
The reservoir is located in the yellow circle and the red arrow point to the cap where you refill. Once you remove the cap there is a dipstick attached to the cap
that shows you the recommended level of power steering fluid required. Add a little and check by replacing cap, continue until the fluid level reaches the required mark
on the dipstick.

Gosh, never saw a engine mounted power steering pump with a fill cap/neck located almost 60 degrees from vertical? How do you actually get a accurate fill level with the dip stick at that angle? Just pour fluid in until it spills out of the filler neck?
