Our new 27 FasDeck

Postby gjbrouss » Wed Jun 25, 2014 4:38 pm

Just took delivery of our new 27 FasDeck ! we love it! I don't see many 27 FasDeck owners on this forum for some reason? The boat is loaded with every option except tower speakers. Passed up deals on Cobalts, SeaRay's and Chap's cause this company just seems to be way ahead of the field in all aspects.

Nice boat. I don't see a lot of those style boats here in that size. We had one friend with what I would consider a similar style Chap. He just traded it in for an identical one with a cabin.

Beautiful boat. Looks like a ton of space around the transom area. Love how the swim platform gets low to the water. We never use our ladder for water sports as it's rather easy to hop onto the platform.

Hey! I am looking at ordering one of these soon. How are you liking it? Anything you don't like? Would love to hear your opinion on the boat.

Just bought a 2013 27 Fasdeck that was on consignment at a local dealership. I love this boat in just about every way EXCEPT for the RegalVue, which apparently has a mind of it's own and I'd like to throw it overboard but I rely on it for fuel level and navigation. I downloaded Navionics on my phone and iPad Pro, but neither of these will be easy to read in bright sunlight. My Fasdeck has a few bugs that the dealer says they are going to resolve, such as a non-functional subwoofer on the Fusion 700, but otherwise we love it.

My previous boat was a 2005 Crownline 220EX and I will say that the head on the Crownline was MUCH roomier than the Regal. Surprising, since the Crownline was 5' shorter. Everything is pretty nice although my wife isn't digging her seat next to me. She liked facing forward, but everything else on the boat she seems to love. Other than the electronics, I can't really complain. I think my favorite feature is the Power Tower because I can adjust it.

Very nice! We just purchased a 2700 but the 27 Fasdek was on the short list as well. We just happened to find a good deal on a nice 2700 first. They are VERY nice boats that make great use of their size.
