2017 2300 RX Surf

Postby spadelizard » Wed Mar 01, 2017 9:47 am

Took the plunge and traded my 2012 2100 for a 2017 2300 RX Surf. Was torn on Surf vs standard but with boat show incentives and the dealer throwing in extra options it made the choice easier.

This is the boat "I wanted" when I bought the 2100. This G5 motor is tits! Does not matter what speed or rpm...bump the throttle and you feel it. Turns with the fwd drive are incredible. I thought my 2100 stuck in a turn but this new drive does not break free.

Not much more to report yet. The weather has been crazy up and down along with Lake Lanier water levels.

I will be posting a hi5 and a 4 blade Solas in the For Sale forums shortly.

I like the color selection as the black and white flows with the greys of the swim platform/seagrass mat/interior. Well done.

Nice!!! How did you like your 2100? I'm in the mist of buying a 2013 2100 now...

I loved it! It was an awesome boat. An instant head turner on the lake. I love the way the boat lines slope back into the water. The amount of room inside the boat compared to other manufactures is giant. It is what kept me in the Regal family and buying the 2300.
The main reason for getting a new boat was the added surf functionality and a few extra options.

Very nice boat! We're biased, but that is a great color combo.

Great looking boat. Congrats!

I am just amazed by how the boat builders keep improving their designs.
