Regal 2465 2002 fuse panel location?

Postby CelloRegal2465 » Fri Dec 02, 2016 8:54 pm

Hi everyone, I'm new in this forum. I have a 2002 Regal 2465, and my GPS stopped working. I checked the connector for corrosion and cleaned it with white vinegar as I always do and it seems fine, I tested the GPS directly to the battery and it works, but it stopped working when connected to the dashboard. Is there a fuse panel in this boat? If so where is it?
Thanks a lot for your help!

I am not sure on your specific boat, but thought I would put in my two cents where to start. There should be a fuse normally on the power feed to the GPS. They normally use a fast blow glass inline AGC type fuse and holder. Many of the GPS manufactures put this on there power harness. There are / should be breakers as well which while protecting the wire won't act fast enough to protect the GPS unit if something happens. Normally the fuses are under the rubber covers around the helm and are push to reset. Most likely it should be one of those two.

Also which I am sure you are aware would be the battery switch in the "on" position. Sorry sometimes the most obvious things are what get us, just incase...
Thanks, Chris
