This is my 1st boat.
I just purchased a 1986 Regal Majestic 210XL, the engine says 190 on top, the out drive is a Alpha I think, it looks like a 4cyl engine, it seems seized and will not turn. Any tips? I also am searching for an owners manual, and tips and or help locating this would be a great help to me.
Not sure is the engine is blown, or if its just froze in place it was sitting for a few years.

The boat is in really good condition top side but needs some paint above the water line, I am really looking forward to getting it on the water by June 1st, anyone with info to help me figure out how to get her ready would be of great help to me.

I've been on many boards that were attacked with spam, and this is a very mild and effective deterrent.

Somewhat ironically this post will need to be approved before it's visible. :)

Thanks for the positive review of this policy.

99.99% have been very accepting of it but the few people that were annoyed and email me about it are kinda surprising. I've always suspected that the few who complain would be the first ones to rant if the forum were to become a SPAM haven. I try not to lose too much sleep over it.

Am I wrong to request that people use the forum to ask boating related questions instead of sending me private messages all the time?

What's even worse is they ask the question in the forum as well as sending me a PM.

Please use the forum to ask your questions so that everyone can learn or have an opportunity to answer something they know the answer to. I really hate ignoring messages but I just don't have the ability or time to respond to any PM that should be asked in the forums directly.

Thanks for understanding!

Welcome . I think you will find more "future" 5260 owners than current. I am a "hopefully one day" 5260 owner.

I think this is a great idea to control any website. I understand that I'll have to jump through a few hoops to be able to correspond continuously without any issues.

Thanks

Just became the proud owners of a beautiful 2004 2200, our first boat. We have a 13yo and an 8yo and they love it - and all our friends too :) Thanks to everyone on this site for the great info you've assembled here. It really helped me make a very good decision in our purchase.

I am strongly considering the 2700 bowrider--probably the 2007-2008 year. Are there any options that I should insist on or any questions that I should ask the owner/broker/dealer? Thought the Regal community would know best. Similar question (albeit loaded) is how accurate are pricing resources such as NADA to buy this one or sell my current Crownline. The Crownline estimate seems high--I like it as a seller but---.

Thanks

I also run a local forum and feel your pain. I may adopt the same policy.

Not a lot of work and has really cut down on the SPAM attacks, I recommend it highly.
