I'm willing to bet that most 3060 owners do not tow their boat. Sure is a lot of boat to move around on land!

I don't have 3060 but I use a f350 dually... I have to put extra weight to get up the ramp since it's only rear wheel drive... and $20 gets my annual permit for the oversize...

We wouldn't entertain towing anything that size over here, it's specialist transport only. Boats that size live in marinas

Our local Regal dealer does have a new 3360 (I think) sat outside on an american trailer. Not that he can legally tow it on that over here.

Although our 2150 lives in the marina, I do have the trailer and do sometimes take it to other places. I use a 4.6 Range Rover, which absolutely eats it, I don't really know it's behind me (apart from watching the fuel guage drop alarmingly). It does have a 3500kg towing limit though, so the 2000kgs the boat & trailer weigh shouldn't really trouble it. Before the Range Rover we towed it with our BMW X3, but that really wasn't up to the job.

This was last Sunday, before dropping her in the drink.

I tow my 322 with a Ford F-550 with a tow bed. It is a 2003 with a 7.3l Powerstroke. It is a little overkill but tows great. I know of several 292's and 3060's that do tow all over the West with single rear wheel F-250's and Powerstokes with absolutely no problems.

I tow my 292 with an 04 Ford F250 Superduty Crew 4x4. It has towed it fine for us. We tow up to the Sacramento Delta, San Francisco Bay, Channel Islands Harbor, San Diego, Lake Mead and Powell with no problems. I pay $90 for an annual overwide permit for Calif. Don't have a picture of the rig, just of the boat on the trailer.

1989 Chevy K5 Blazer.

Built 383 TPI stroker around 450hp/530tq or so (engine was originally from an 84 4bolt main chevy 2500 I think - 350 block, vortec heads, crane cams, crower rockers and pins, JE flattops, roller rockers, lifters, edelbrock intake and 70mm TB, custom headers and exhaust, MSD ignition, etc...)
5sp manual NV4500 tranny 6.32:1 granny gear (93 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup)
Dual transfer cases triple sticked in the cab (np203 doubler box mated to a clocked np205 to keep the belly flat)
D60 1-ton front axle from a 89 chevy 3500 4x4, 5.13 gears, 35-spline outers, warn premium lockouts and ARB air locker
14b full floating rear axle from a 78 2500 Suburban, 5.13 gears,detroit locker and shaved 2"
2.5" lift (shackle flip in the rear with 2500 HD springs one leaf removed, 4" lift springs up front with one leaf removed)
Custom dash with all autometer gauges
Mild interior work including replacing all the flooring from firewall to tailgate with herculined 1/8" diamond plate steel and a soft top.

It gets the job done good enough, even if it doesn't look so hot right now. I'm out of work until June, so I've been doing a ton of work to it. This week it's getting some rust treatment and new outer rockers and she'll be ready for paint.

This was a few weeks ago right after I got the new axles in. Yeah I know the rear tires were a little low in air. That's fixed now :P

She'll also do a hair under 14.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

Not a large boat but at the same time my 08 f150 pulls it nicely.. runs at 70 with no problem and can pass people easily...not that i do on purpose but sometimes you just have to.

Newbie here. I just bought a 1999 Regal 2100 LSR and I pull it with my 1992 Chevy 454SS (with a Paxton Supercharger). I really surprise a lot of people at a stop lights when I'm heading to the lake. ;)

Once I got over 25' I stopped towing and moved the boat into permanent water storage in a marina. I use my boat much more now then when I had tow.

Here is our 3060 coming down a steep hill to the ramp for launching, using a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, the dealer's, although it was well over the weight limit in the UK and illegal, the dealer had no problems. He had towed it from the dealership for 5 miles on country roads to the marina.

Wow, your dealer is brave. Land Cruisers have about a 6500 lb towing capacity. Hope he at least installed a Class IV hitch!

2004 Nissan Armada. Does a fine job around the central and eastern parts of the Carolinas. We are headed to Key west for the first week of March. Picture was taken by my wife from our room at the Blockade Runner in Wrightsville Beach over Thanksgiving Weekend.
