Hello. I just picked up a 1987 Regal Empress 200XL. Anyone happen to know where I could get a copy of the manual? The outdrive's been painted recently, so I can't see any decals. Did these come with the Mercruiser Bravo 1? It's got the 260 hp 5.7l. Thanks!!!

Hi Everyone -

We just purchased a 1987 Regal Medallion 195. Does anyone happen to have an owner's manual for this model?

This is our first boat purchase and then only information I've been able to find so far (and not much of that) is for a Regal Medallion 185. No mention of a 195 anywhere.
I'd appreciate any help I can get!
Thanks!

Hi, I'm looking for a manual for the 1995 Regal 6.8 Ventura.

I need to know what switch the navigation lights (they don't work) should be on and find where the cables go.
If anyone can help I'd be forever greatful!

Hi,
I've just bought a 1995 Regal 6.8 Ventura and I need a manual and a electrical wiring schema.
The navigation lights were not functioning and the previous owner had never used them so I need to find out what switch (two on the board that does nothing) the navigation lights are controled from and I also want to know what cable to test.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Mikael

Kelly,

Did you find the information on the 185 on this site. If so could you please tell me where that's what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

Regal Owners Manuals

Postby jeffritab » Thu Aug 13, 2009 12:19 am

Hello Regal Owners,

My wife and I just purchased a 1993 Regal 272 Commodore. Just like everyone else, we are in need of a owners manual. Does anyone have a manual that we might buy or borrow to make a electronic copy. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We would handle all costs of any shipping.

Also, apparently during the movement to our house for repairs, the engine hatch motor became disconnected. Does anyone know how to manually open an engine hatch for the 272 Commodore?

Thank you in advance for your help.

My 1992 260 also has an electric hatch for the engine compartment. Assuming the boats are similiar, here is how to do it. Under the rear seat in the storage compartment there is a deck hatch. Unscrew the lid. Reach in and pull the pin where the ram attaches the bracket. You (and a friend) should now be able to lift the hatch.

I think having an engine hatch that spans the whole rear of the boat is great for working down in the engine room. I wish the newer Regals had it.

I've got a '95 Commadore 272 and re: Manually opening the hatch. You can hook up a jumper to the black and red terminals in the storage access compartment that you can get to on the back "porch" (swim platform). IF your battery was dead? You can also jump the batteries this way too-

Never done it but seems a nice thing to have since pulling the pin and lifting it yourself then propping it up (watch your head) seems no fun-

I didn't read the whole post I was actually searching for something else but thought hey this would be the "first time" contribution to something I know about... Hope it helps...

Keep in touch since we have similar if not the same boats!

Thanks keavygroup, every little bit, info, helps when your trying to get to know your boat without a owner's manual which you wouldn't happen to have would you??? Amazing how you take those, owner's manuals, for granted when you have one at your finger tips..BTW, what is the full function of the "radial dial" located in the chart compartment??

Hi,

I just recently purchased a 1990 regal ambassador 255 and it did not come with anything. Anyone with any information, owner's manual, tips, hints, etc. would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail address is paulawt25@yahoo.com. Thank you all in advance.

paulawt25...We ended up downloading the 1991 265 model, found on page one, for information on our 1993 272..Obviously not exact, but close enough to provide some useful information and getting rid of a lot of the guess work...
