Hi Rommer,

I am new to the forum, this is my first post and also new to Regal. I am looking for fuel consumption for my "new" 2002 Commodore 2465. It is equipped with the standard 5.7 l. Mercruiser with a Bravo III out drive. Loaded with my wife and I (normal size adults) about 350 lbs (not each lol...) and average weekend gear on board.
I plan to cruise at about 3000 rpm seas allowing. Would 8 Gph be a reasonable assumption?

We are living in SoCal and taking the boat to Catalina Island and back a roughly 80 to 90 miles round trip. There is gas available at Avalon Harbor but at $8.00 or so per gal, so I would rather not have to buy gas there.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and I look forward to be part of this forum

We are looking into the Express 32. When building the boat on the Regal web site, there are no options for MerCruiser's SeaCore engines. Does anyone know why that is? I assume if I order the boat, I can get that?

Hello everyone, I just bought a 15 yr old (2000) 200 Destiny with a Mercruiser 5.0 L. This is my first I/O boat and I can't seem to find an owners manual for this boat? I see a lot of listings for other Regal boats but not this one. I'm guessing this was not a very popular model? I hope I didn't make a mistake? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

To be honest, when someone scans in the pages from the book and sends them to me.

I don't have access to internal Regal documentation, ie the sales guide, but if anyone has pages they want to see here scan em, zip em up and email them to me.

We recently purchased a 97 292 Commodore and I saw a Regal binder on board which I'm assuming was an owners manual. Is there any specific format it would need to be when I scanned it for submission?

Could someone please help establish what model boat I have from the HIN?

From another helpful post here, I've established the following -

HIN = RGMxxyyyabcc

Where -

xx - Specific model
yyy - Serial number
a - Month built (A-January, B-February, C-March....)
b - Year built (7 could be 1987, 1997, 2007....)
cc - Model year (88,98,08....)

I've established I have a 2005 model HE, serial 440. But what does that equate to in more conventional model names (like Regal 2765/2860/3560/3760 etc)???

Thanks. Indeed Regal were very quick to respond and provide the model info from the HIN. It turned out to be a 2665 Commodore Express.

Specs for 1994 Ventura 6.3

Postby TimmyHaverhill » Sun Jul 05, 2015 11:19 am

Just bought this boat. Seems really nice! I am curious to know the gas and water tank capacities, and any other specs for this boat. Or any tips, comments, etc. The thing really gets up and goes with the 5ltr Volvo!

Rommer, you might want to add information on the Regal 35 Sport Coupe. About six weeks ago I was interested on the diesel version but wanted to know how the performance compares, given that the HP was lower than the gas versions. The dealer contacted someone at Regal and managed to get this for me.

I also got this torque profile for the Diesel engine, this was part of article on this engine.

The links above are not working for me, specifically the ones referring to Are they working for anyone else?
Buying a 2008 Regal 3360, would like the specs, length at various points, height, etc. Sea Ray user manuals provide exact dimensions for the boat you have, the Regal Owner's Manuals are more generic.

Regal sent me this info for my Medallion 195. It shows some specs as well as standard and optional equipment. Hope it's helpful to someone besides myself...

hi, All

I am looking at a supposedly 2004 Regal 2465 on craigslist. I am having my doubts of the correct year that he is advertising. 1st This Regal 2465 side emblem is on the lower rear sides. I looked at other 2004's and the Regal emblem is up high on both sides (2000-2002 the emblem was at the lower area of boat like this one), second this boat has the 7.4 litre Mercruiser. I thought GM quit making the 7.4 in 2001 in favor of their new 8.1?? I am just having my doubts about this boat. I am thinking its either a 2000 or 2001 I am leaning toward 2001 since that was the last year for the 7.4 engine. I asked the seller for the HIN number and he said he did not have it with him and that its in the boat with the other information, and the boat is in storage so... What is your guys thoughts and knowledge of the 2465 Commodore? I have not looked at the boat yet. I scheduled to do so this Saturday. I am thinking I should pass.
I love Regal boats and want to stick with that model too. They are great looking and the cabin has a great layout

Thanks guys

I agree that the 7.4l was last seen in 2001 models and would be suspicious of the same issue. The boats registration should have the HIN on it.

I can't speak to that model, but with older boats, especially those with multiple owners, there could be confusion or even a paperwork error on the year. It would be pretty easy to mistake a 1 for a 4 on a faded registration if a person didn't actually look up the HID. I would get that HID and check it out throughly, and of course have it surveyed if you like the boat and want to buy. Check the value with correct year and specs from the HID, and your surveyor will do the same should you get close to purchasing.

Thanks for responding guys! Yeah the owner said he will get the HIN for me this friday. (Not for sure why so long to get) but yeah. Also he did not know the hours on the boat and that he said that he is not for sure if it has an hour meter hmmm Lots of red flags.
Thanks guys!

I have a 2001 3780 and I am shipping it to Seattle. Does anyone know the overall height for shipping purposes (with radar arch off)?
