Update.
Assuming the survey is good, we have a boat. Got a little hairy there with a competing offer, but still think we got it for a decent price.

Update;

Thank god for surveys.
Boat is good but engine was not.
Low compression, risers and manifolds with issues, flywheel nicked, etc.
End result...Im still purchasing, just as soon as repowering is complete. Surveyor saved me nearly 10 grand in repairs and I get a zero hr motor.

You should see how more it is to upgrade to a 5.7 engine while they are doing it.

The block is already a 5.7 L. My understanding is that the 20 hp (or 40) difference between the base and upgraded engine is related to other factors like the fuel injection system. I did actually inquire about boosting hp but it was cost prohibitive.
I've been lead to understand I might do better with changing prop. Either way, gonna leave as is for now and see how she feels in the water before considering anything.
