Speedometer replacement

Postby MetoPower » Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:52 pm

Hello everybody,
I’m new here and this is my first post and I hope someone can help me. I own a Regal Commodore 2665, year 2006, here in Switzerland. Great boat, I love it.
Last year the hose connected to the speedometer started to leak and figured I just replace the speedometer with a Faria GPS unit. Found it on ebay and when I got the speedometer, I realized that I ordered the wrong size, 4 inches and apparently the original unit has a 5 inch diameter. The Faria brochure says they are also available for 5 inch dash holes. Unfortunately, I can’t find anything on the web. Does anybody have an idea where I can get a 5-inch Faria GPS speedometer or any good alternative (white)? Thanks in advance

What style and colour are your other instruments?
The https://fariabeede.com/2-pages/prod_display.php?calledGauge=2_speedGPS only shows 4" instruments. Maybe you'll have to make a donut from plastic to fit the 4" gauge into the bigger hole.
http://www.perfectpass.com/?q=displays Do a 5" verion for the older ski boats. Maybe phone them. I have a perfect pass in my 2250 and it's great for sort as well as cruising. Set the speed or RPM and head off.
When we ask for advice, we are usually looking for an accomplice.
