I'm looking for boat with V-drives to replace my Regal 3360 and am considering the 3560 (3760). Anyone have one
to sell?

Any specific reason you are looking for V drives versus a straight shaft or outdrives or Pods. Just asking, storing information for possible future personal use.

I like the controls, 2 throttle, 2 shifters. Easier to maneuver in my experience. Quicker to plane. Less damage from muskrats! I'm still thinking about it
and will post another message to see what others think. My broker salesman likes the outdrives but he doesn't have any v-drives to sell. What do you
think?

Also looking at 3860, 3880. Working on narrowing it down.

3860 is much more boat, i would think a whle different animal than a 3560! Nice if you can afford it!

Hi Bob, not sure where you're located but mine is for sale, no v-drives so not exactly what you're looking for but it's a great boat. Here's the link: http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2004/Re ... XnzuemQx1u

rmrider03 -The Bose speakers you have mounted on your arch are they the Bose 151 speakers? Did you use the factory supplied mounts?
Was thinking of bullet speakers but, like the look of yours. How is the quality of the sound?

Thanks,

Regal3260. Yes they are the Bose 151 speakers and they are just the factory mounts with a piece of king starboard in between the mount and the arch to get them a little lower so they would point more forward and not down. They are great, I wanted to project the sound to the bow and they are perfect for that, you can hear the music very clearly even on the front of the bow and I put them on a separate zone with the fusion head unit so I can use them with the cockpit speakers volume at zero so the cockpit isn't flooded with noise when people are hanging out there and on the bow. They also help with hearing the music while underway. The sound quality is perfect for what I use them for.

Thanks rider. Not to hijack bobs thread, but could you post a closer picture of the speaker mount, maybe in a new thread.
Can you swivel the speaker out the back?

I'm now thinking about a Regal 4060. The 3560/3570 is too close to what I have now, a 3360 which I plan to sell. Of course, it will depend on the
price and I would like to sell my 3360 first. I also own a Meridian 459 which I plan to keep and a 2000 Cobalt 252 that I would like to sell. I am
in SC. I want to end up with just 2 boats. I'm in no big hurry until I sell the 2006 3360.
