Bowline Pond

This is one of the places we go when the winds are not favorable for our favorite anchorage. It is an old collapsed mine that now serves as a water source for a power plant. It is off the Hudson River about 3/4 mile south of Haverstraw Marina.

Did I mention getting into Bowline can be very difficult without local knowledge? (NOT a photoshop either!)

and at the end of the day we get to view one of the wonderful sunsets....
