Tabs on a 2200??

Postby fast forward » Tue Sep 15, 2009 1:35 pm

Was out this weekend on our new to us 2200 with a boat load of people and noticed due to the seating arrangment the boat realled leaned to the port side. Just wondering if anyone has installed tabs on a 2200? Transom looks pretty small so if you have a pic and brand would be nice to know as well.

Thanks

Check out Bennett Marine web site. They make all of Regal's OEM tabs and have a great web site. They can advise you on whether your boat is suitable.

Did you ever get tabs? I know this is really old, but I notice the same thing and curious if you solved it and experience. Thanks

I have a 2250 (same hull but with the cabin) and fitted Bennett tabs this year, and wow what a difference.
I always found that it rode port down with 2 up. I have a second battery that is also on the left.
With Bennett tabs you will need to order the shortest rams, the 10-3/4” overall length actuators, but they are not a standard off the shelf size. With the position of the swim platform there is limited space underneath.
