I have a 2009 2000 model and the throttle will not maintain speed. I slowly looses RPM's. Is this easy to tighten? Had the dealer do it but to no avail. Paid them 1/4 hour labor at Grand Bay to no avail. Thanks

There usually is a friction adjustment on the throttle stick to prevent this from happening. Look in the manual for your throttle-shift lever, there should be an adjustment under the cover.

Yes, if you have Teleflex shift/throttle controls remove the cover plate from the throttle control, you should see a slotted screw in the middle of each lever in the housing, turning it CW will tightens the friction pads which will hold the throttle levers in the position you set them to, loosening them will allow the spring at the throttle body to pull the levers back to idle (or in your case, the levers will slowly slip back reducing the throttle plate position (back to idle).
