This winter in my off season I will be doing the following (hopefully).

1) Upgrading/swapping out my Garmin VHF to a Garmin VHF with AIS receiver (doing this myself).
2) Upgrading my Bennett trim tabs by adding Autotrim Pro (doing this myself).
3) Swapping out the OEM underwater lights with something much better (brighter and blue). Having his done by marina Service.

Will be replacing my original Raytheon Radar, with Simrad - doing myself.

Replacing the original Bimini and all clear isinglass. Using Polycarbonate on the front panel. Designed a custom enclosure to isolate the bridge, for those cold days.- Local shop handling.

Having the valves adjusted on both Yanmar engines. - Yanmar dealer

Ive ordered a Factory windshield cover and ive installed it using YKK SNADS studs to avoid drilling 33 holes on my boat.
https://www.sailrite.com/YKK-SNAD-40mm- ... Domed-Stud
So far im happy with the SNAD holding power.
I had initially considered making the cover locally but my Regal dealer gave me an unbeliavable low price for the factory cover made by Ameritex.(picture shows when i was done with the stb side so port side was still loose)

On the other hand i had done another cover for the aft of my boat that protects the platform and rear plastic windows. Im moving the boat out from a barn to a boat lift by the Biscaine Bay so i wanted to add more protection from the Sun.

Cool on those adhesive studs. I have a feeling I’ll have a use for those at some point.

Getting a new trailerable cover and have side skirts added for when she is on the boat lift to keep the UV off the blue hull.

Well i just bought mine in Sept put four hours on her 04 2665 commodore. The boat is really clean but I am replacing all the canvas on the boat, all new carpet, complete stereo system, VHF radio, new water pump, boots, cables, belts, batteries etc. I have already completely redid fuel system with removing all the paint on the inside of the fuel pump assembly and replacing both high and low pressure fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulator. On the trailer side, it sits on a performance Ibeam alum trailer with surge brakes, I already have moved boat forward on the trailer replaced winch strap, removed the surge brakes installed all new electric brakes with break away, coupler and four new alum wheels. I'm very particular and she has to be perfect.

Just installed 2 Lumitec spectrum lights on the back right before pulling for the end of the year. Made appointment at local marina to have all new camper canvas and have a screen built for entrance and dash and steering wheel covers to block sun. I bought new anodes and a new active corrosion protection system as something had hit the old one during boating. Found a crack in the steel spring mounts on the aluminum trailer so replaced both sides. Hope to be good to go for next year.

Hopefully you know to have no more or less than 10% (+/- 1%) of the boat / trailers GVW on the hitch? Moving the boat forward on the trailer will add weight to the hitch and visa versa moving the boat back. Too much or too little weight on the tongue will adversely effect trailer-ability and safely trailering the vessel.
