Been a long time since I owned the 3260 but you can try underneath the cockpit sink.

If you are having problems try squirting some WD40 down the air horn tube and let it drip into the compressor.

On my 2003 3260, it is located under the V berth mattress, starboard side, under a removable plywood panel. Have also heard to remove the hose on the deck at the horn and drip a little light oil down the hose to lube the compressor if that is your issue.

I was mistaken when I posted that the horn compressor was under the V berth. It is in the head ceiling, behind the right side panel. Sorry. There is a pic in another thread if you wish to search.

One thing I learned about some of these compressor run air horns is that you only want a drop of oil in the top. More than that is too much!

If you put in too much oil, and any of it makes it up to the horn diaphragm, then the horn will only squeek a bit, instead of being loud.

The fix is to disassemble the rear of the horn to clean the diaphragm so it is dry, then reassemble it. It will then be back to full strength.

If your boat is a few years old, I suggest that you do this simple service. It's easy and provides good results.

I learned about this after buying a new compressor, my horn would still squeak every now and then. After cleaning it was so much louder and sounded reliably each time I used it.

Here's the link to the horn location on the 3260.
It's located in the head, starboard stern side in the ceiling over the cabinet.
