Belmont Bay anchoring

Postby Kolsch Cruiser » Mon Oct 15, 2012 2:45 pm

Hi all, new owner here. Out cruising yesterday with some friends enjoying the fantastic weather. Saw a bunch of boats anchored in Belmont Bay. Just a random bunch of folks enjoying the respite from the choppy Potomac or is this something folks do regularly?

Thanks!

Welcome... Belmont Bay is typically busy in the summer months from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. If you anchor just be respectful of space and say hello and introduce yourself around. Eventually you'll learn who to raft up with that suits your personality! It's always fun out there, though!
